Nature data is hard to collect because someone has to be on site, every season, doing the work. On a MicroHabitat roof, someone already is. Canopy instruments the farms our urban farmers already visit — which is why it can be continuous rather than a consultant's one-week survey.
One is instrumentation, the other is paperwork. Canopy measures your roof continuously and hands you the numbers; a certification report is the document a certifying authority reads. Neither is on sale yet, each has its own list, and neither one needs the other.

Canopy instruments urban farms, so a site with a farm is the natural starting point. If you don't have one yet, say so on the form — installing the farm is the part we already do.
No. A certification report is a document — drafted per building, per system, for you to submit to a certifying authority, and finished when you file it. Canopy is instrumentation — sensors on your roof and a platform that keeps measuring after any report is filed. The two are designed to meet: Canopy's measurements are intended to feed future reports, so the evidence is recorded rather than reconstructed. But they are separate products, each with its own waitlist, and either works without the other.
No. MicroHabitat is not a certifying body. Certifying authorities award the credits; we produce evidence and reports. Canopy is a measurement platform, not a certification.
