Your farm, measured live.

Canopy is the nature-intelligence platform we are building for urban farms — a live sensor network and biodiversity monitoring designed to turn your roof into real-time environmental data and audit-ready ESG reporting.

Canopy is not live yet. The Beta opens to a first group of sites, picked from this waitlist — and everyone on the list gets 50% off their Beta trial.

TNFD

Nature disclosure runs on asset-level data — the LEAP approach asks you to locate and evaluate what lives at each site. That data has to come from somewhere.

CSRD · ESRS E4

The European standard covers biodiversity and ecosystems at the asset level, which means evidence per property rather than a corporate estimate.

GRESB

Annual, asset-level and scored — nature and community indicators are assessed on a fixed cycle, so the measurement has to be continuous, not a one-off survey.

What Canopy will do

Four instruments, one roof.

This is the product we are building. None of it is running on a client site yet — the Beta is where it first goes live.

Biodiversity, identified automatically

Bioacoustic listeners and camera traps with AI species identification, plus seasonal eDNA sampling — so the species using your roof are counted, not estimated.

A sensor array, installed in one visit

Soil probes, a weather station, bioacoustic listeners and wildlife cameras, pushing a reading every 15 minutes over LoRaWAN — no WiFi, no ethernet, no cabling across your roof.

Reports your frameworks accept

Pick a framework, a set of sites and a date range, and Canopy assembles the report — GRESB, CSRD, GRI and TNFD — with an auditable trail from the sensor reading to the page.

Portfolio dashboard + AI

Every site on one map with live feeds, anomaly alerts and benchmarking against the rest of your portfolio — questioned in plain language through a built-in assistant.

The MicroHabitat edge

The farm is already on the roof.

Nature data is hard to collect because someone has to be on site, every season, doing the work. On a MicroHabitat roof, someone already is. Canopy instruments the farms our urban farmers already visit — which is why it can be continuous rather than a consultant's one-week survey.

  • Sensors go where our farmers already work every week
  • Same site, same method, season after season
  • Asset-level by construction — one roof, one record
  • Built to feed the frameworks you already report against
Two products, one roof

Two waitlists, two products.

One is instrumentation, the other is paperwork. Canopy measures your roof continuously and hands you the numbers; a certification report is the document a certifying authority reads. Neither is on sale yet, each has its own list, and neither one needs the other.

Certification reportsWaitlist open

Certification reports

A document, produced per building, per system — LEED, WELL, BREEAM, GRESB, BOMA BEST, Fitwel, TNFD and eleven more. We draft it credit by credit from your farm's evidence; you submit it, and the certifying authority awards the credits.

  • Unit: one building, one submission cycle
  • Read by: your assessor, reviewer or certifying authority
  • Built from: your farm's records plus your building's measured data
  • 17 systems, contribution report or the whole scorecard

Canopy

50% off · for waitlist members

Hardware on the roof and a platform behind it, running continuously — species, soil, weather and harvest, measured rather than assembled at report time. Not yet available; the Beta opens from this list.

  • Unit: one site, measured continuously
  • Read by: you, your ESG team and your stakeholders
  • Built from: sensors on your own roof, every 15 minutes
  • Waitlist members get 50% off the Beta trial

How the Beta will work

Three steps, no commitment.

1

Join the waitlist

Your email and your property. No account, no card, nothing to cancel.

2

We confirm your site

We check what can be installed on your roof and come back to you with a start date when the Beta opens.

3

Beta at half price

Your trial runs at 50% off, and what you tell us during it shapes what Canopy becomes.

The Beta offer

Join the waitlist, get 50% off.

Canopy is not live yet. The Beta will open to a first group of sites, picked from this waitlist — and everyone on the waitlist gets 50% off their Beta trial.

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. The 50% applies to the Beta trial when your site is invited. Certification reports are a separate product with their own waitlist, and are not part of this offer.

Takes about a minute

We measure your site. You own the disclosure.

Straight answers

The honest questions, answered.

Is Canopy available today?

No. Canopy is in development and is not running on any client site. This page is a waitlist for the Beta — nothing is being sold here.

What exactly does the 50% apply to?

The Beta trial, when your site is invited into it. It does not apply to certification reports, to your farm service, or to anything else from MicroHabitat.

Do I need a MicroHabitat farm on my roof?

Canopy instruments urban farms, so a site with a farm is the natural starting point. If you don't have one yet, say so on the form — installing the farm is the part we already do.

Is this the same thing as my certification report?

No. A certification report is a document — drafted per building, per system, for you to submit to a certifying authority, and finished when you file it. Canopy is instrumentation — sensors on your roof and a platform that keeps measuring after any report is filed. The two are designed to meet: Canopy's measurements are intended to feed future reports, so the evidence is recorded rather than reconstructed. But they are separate products, each with its own waitlist, and either works without the other.

Will Canopy get my building certified?

No. MicroHabitat is not a certifying body. Certifying authorities award the credits; we produce evidence and reports. Canopy is a measurement platform, not a certification.

What happens to my details?

They are stored so we can contact you about the Canopy Beta. No newsletter, no sharing with third parties, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
